So, as discussed at last Tuesday’s meeting, some of us are thinking of attending the RMS BBQ at the new Newtownard’s Branch of Kerr's Tyres.
It’s being held on Sunday 22nd March from 1-4pm
We could meet up before hand for a bit of breakfast/lunch and then take a scenic route down to the Ards Peninsula.
There were over 100 cars at this event last year. This will be our first club run and show of 2015. It might also be an opportunity to promote our own annual show?
RMS will also be holding a competition and other entertainment on the day including free BBQ food!
So, it’s time to blast away those winter cobwebs especially if your car has been SORN over the last few months........
Make a list of people interested in attending. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Yes, hopefully do a run before the show.
Meet at Sprucefield, Lisburn. Then possibly go to Carryduff, Comber, Scrabo before going on to Newtownards?
OR after meeting at Sprucefield, go to Ballynahinch, Downpatrick, Strangford and across to Portaferry. Through Kircubbin, Greyabbey and on to Newtownards.
Coffee stop somewhere along the way!
If your car is still Sorn leave your non-italian transport at Sprucefield and hitch a lift in a proper car!
Which route does everyone prefer?

I hope to be able to join everyone on Sunday - I agree it will be a good way to promote our own show. James - one thing you might want to check with DRD. I had heard that part of the Ards Peninsula road has been (and may still be ) closed for re-surfacing. That would clearly have an impact on the route we would be able to take.

The Thoroughbred Sports Car Club (NI) has invited our club to join them this Sunday morning for a 'Cars & Coffe' morning. This event is being held in conjunction with Vanilla Black Catering.
It's being held at the Down Royal Racecourse, Gravelhill Road, Lisburn, BT27 5RW.
Entry is free. Basically, it's for enthusiasts to get together for a coffee and a chat.
The time is 10a.m. to Noon.
We were thinking that if we met up at this event on Sunday morning, instead of meeting at McDonald's, we could have a coffee and chat to the members of the TSCCNI owner's club.
Then leave the racecourse around noon and travel to Newtownards via Carryduff to be there in time for the RMS show at 1p.m.
Would those arrangements suit everyone?

James, see you for coffee at the Maze about 10 am. Weather forcast sounds promising for Sunday and will give the Lancia a run out to N'Ards also.
