Directions to Tudor Cinema 22 Drumhirk Road Comber
Coming from Belfast or from Newtownards, do not go into the town of Comber, but proceed round town bypass until the large roundabout with black and white arrows. Take A22 at roundabout, the road leading towards Killyleagh/Downpatrick, and just short of one mile from the roundabout you will see a 10ft high gray stone wall on your left running for about 70 yds. Past it, on the left, is a sign saying STRANGFORD AND LECALE AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY. Immediately opposite this sign, on your RIGHT, is the DRUMHIRK ROAD, with its nameplate clearly visible. There is a separate lane in the middle of the road for right turners into DRUMHIRK ROAD. You will easily see the nameplate of DRUMHIRK ROAD. Take the DRUMHIRK ROAD and go to the TOP OF THE FIRST HILL, less than a quarter of a mile. On your LEFT, opposite 4 blocks of cottages, is a broad tarmacadam lane, with the word TUDOR on the wooden fence railing, and the Numbers 18a and 22 on the railing fence. Turn up this lane and proceed until you see the cinema and car park on the LEFT, not the open yard place on the right. It is much easier to find than these lengthy directions suggest. In short, first road on right a mile from Comber, and first lane on left. Coming from Killyleagh, the Drumhirk Road is on your left about two miles past Lisbane, and one mile before you reach Comber.
Coming from Lisburn (via Carryduff and Moneyreagh) come down the hill into Comber Square, and turn right at the traffic lights. Proceed up street to roundabout, go straight through on the A22 for one mile to the Drumhirk Road, and follow directions above.
