As many of you will already know we are having a meal at Lisburn Golf Club after our annual show on Saturday 27 May. Our plan is to arrive at 7.30ish for our meal at 8 o'clock. Quite a few club members and friends have already indicated that they are going to the dinner and hopefully we can persuade a few more to attend too.
I have agreed the menu with the restaurant manager and she has asked that we order our starters and main courses in advance (no need to pre-order dessert). I therefore need your menu choices by next Friday - 19 May 2017.
Menu details are detailed below;
Starters
1) Creamy Butternut Squash Soup with Curry Scented Creme Fraiche & Chive with Peppered Croutons
2) Confit of Duck Terrine with seasonal Leaves Served with toasted Brioche & Orange & Cinnamon Scented Homemade Chutney
3) King Prawn & Smoked Haddock Tartlet, Spiced Tomato Dressing & Rocket Salad
Main Course
4) Grilled Sirloin Steak with Saute Mushrooms, Onions, Peppercorn Sauce Served with Chips and topped with French Fried Onions
(please state how you would like your steak cooked - e.g. blue, rare, medium, well done etc)
5) Chicken Cooked 3 ways, Pan fried Breast, Slow Braised Leg & spicy Chicken Croquette Served with Baby Spinach & Tender Stem Broccoli
6) Pan Fried Seabass Fillet with Leek & Semi Sundried Tomato Mash on a bed of Crushed Minted Sweet Peas with a Tarragon & Dijon Sauce
